Honest opinion

The eyes, brows and lips seem a little dark (more like a girls night out look). But, I’m not sure what makeup look you’re going for and what inspiration photos you provided.

The makeup looks very nice, have you tried a lighter shade of lipstick?

I love your makeup. I feel like you could go for a darker lip for a trendier look but if you’d want something more classic I’d go with a lighter/nuder lip.

The shadow was not even, the foundation is really good. It is on the darker side but not sure if you wanted that.

I'm not a fan of so much dark shadow on Asian eyes, but you're very beautiful with or without makeup. I agree a nude lip would look good, but I never wear lipstick.

Love the lips! I think if the eye makeup was toned done just a bit it would give a nice focal point on the lips

Thank you everyone for your honest responses. I actually had a nude shade first but it didn’t look right. And also had a brighter red lipstick but it made me look like a “teenager”😬

I agree with others. It looks lovely but perhaps a bit dark. Maybe a shade or two lighter?

It seems a little harsh.... Maybe try a softer look?

I would go with a lighter shade of lipstick and lighter eyeshadow. Something more natural but still got that “Boom” lol.

I love your eye makeup. I honestly think the lip color is just a tad too dark.
As for the hair, instantly when I saw your pic I thought you'd look stunning with an updo with pieces falling down. Something like the pic I posted.

You're a beautiful woman but I agree with the other PPs that it seems harsh and a little too dark. I also am not a fan of the hair. I love your hair in your profile picture where your front is parted to the side - it is softer and frames your face. I was also in my 40's for this wedding but didn't worry about looking "too young" - I don't think there is such a thing, IMO. I just had my HMUA do what looked the best on me.
