Hello you beautiful brides/grooms to be! I was wondering if anyone out there had setup a house improvement registry. We don't really need the usual pots and pans, and other items that people put on there. But we could really use paint, and new couches, and a shed. If those were individual items that were listed that people could put money to...is that tacky? I know it's always a point of contention between people but it seems "honey moon funds" and other related items concerning money ends up being looked down upon.
If that's a big no-no, then is it okay to set up a charity fund for a charity of our choosing (ie. Goodwill, ASPCA, St. Jude, etc.) instead of receiving gifts?
