Hi all! I don't post on here much but I just had to share. I am going to start out by saying that there is very little about our wedding that is actually traditional. Both FH and I have been married before so this is our second go round. We originally wanted an extremely small ceremony but with the love and support from friends and family we have watched it grow larger and larger, we finally settled on a brunch style wedding, at our local church where we can have the ceremony and reception all in one building.
With that being said, we decided to cut costs and use "Evites" for our wedding invitations, they are totally free btw. Because we are getting married on a holiday weekend I wanted to get them out sooner rather than later. Last night FH and I finished compiling our guest list (I am certain we forgot some people) but at least they can be easily added. Any how, we sat at the table together last night, closed our eyes and hit the "send" button!! Within an hour we had 79 yes's, 2 maybe's and zero no's! Holy cow! Ever since last night I have watched the number grow. I knew it was going to be a large wedding once we finally agreed to the idea, I just didn't expect so many people to respond so fast.
Just a side note, I absolutely love how easy the evites were to make and distribute. If you are on a budget and tradition doesn't mean all that much to you I highly recommend!!
