Holiday Season - Sending Invites

So our wedding is February 23, 2020 and I'm currently conflicted on when to send invitations. I plan on having the RSVP date as February 2 (three weeks before the wedding) so I have a week to track down the stragglers before submitting our final counts. I can't decide if we should send the invites at the very beginning of December (12 weeks before the wedding would be December 1st, 9 weeks to RSVP) or if we should wait until RIGHT after Christmas (8 weeks before the wedding would be December 29th, 5 weeks to RSVP). We have very few out of town guests and we did send save the dates to family so I'm leaning towards sending them right after Christmas. Which do you think would be best?

    We sent our invitations like 11 weeks before the wedding honestly I know that’s “early” but it worked just fine for us. We had most people respond before the deadline. Only had to reach out to about a dozen (out of nearly 150 invitees). I would send them at the beginning of December to avoid the holiday chaos!

    I would send them at the beginning of December. If it were me RSVPing I would probably do it before the holidays started plus gives people more time to RSVP.

    My wedding is in February also. Most of my guests are coming from out of town, I did do STDs however I’m determined to get my invites out within the next 2-3 weeks because December is CRAZY with mail and I don’t want anything to get lost. I know it’s early however I’m satisfied with the unconventional timeline
