Hi everyone! So my husband is Indian and a practicing Hindu but because he was in the military we originally did a small quick wedding. His family, especially his grandparents, would like us to have a second Hindu wedding so that I can be properly accepted into there family based off their culture and traditions. I am completely on board with this and would love to earn my place in his family.
However, our families live very far apart and my parents do not travel well. I am trying to figure out who needs to be at the wedding in order to conduct all the proper rituals because I know it would be difficult for my side of the family to get overseas. I was hoping to get a rundown or comprehensive list of the ritual steps because I am a bit lost, if it helps my husband is Gujarati.
