Cicadas are not harmful to humans and not dangerous to plants through feeding.

Wow never heard of them, interesting! I live in SoCal and the only thing I experience are green beetles πŸͺ² they come out around june/july but not how you say that they are all over the place! I would say to buy small umbrellas for guests to kinda cover themselves and swing at them πŸ˜…

Omg I hate those things. They were out when I was in high school and people would pay people $50-$100 to eat one. Ughh so disgusting. Also have a phobia of bugs and my cousin used to chase me with them thinking it was funny. 😑

My brother went to UK and I visited him there one year when the cicadas came. Growing up in California I had never heard or seen anything like it. I really think you have to see it with your own eyes to believe it.

I can't imagine having an outdoor wedding with cicadas as the uninvited guests, so you are smart to plan around that.

Ohh no I couldn’t fathom one actually getting on me I would die. I literally have to get my fiancΓ© to move slugs off of our porch when it rains or I won’t go out.
