Bride brain is real everyone!

So I ordered these beautiful save the dates from Shutterfly and got an amazing deal on them. As I am getting addresses and getting them ready to send, it seems like I'm barely making a dent in my pile. I finally get all the save the dates done for our 168 guests and I have this giant pile still. I ordered 175 copies so I would have a few extras just in case and I have around 50 left over. I'm freaking out thinking "What happened? Did I forget people?? I should only have 7 extra!"

Well it turns out that I got a little over excited while ordering, and ordered enough save the dates for each guest...disregarding that most are going to one household for multiple people (i.e. couples and families). LOL. I now have about 55 beautiful copies of our save the dates just in case 50 guests lose them haha.

So just remember forum friends... something will go wrong while planning. We just have to find the funny and good in all of the minor hiccups! I had a really good laugh when I realized what I did, and I hope you found it funny too!

    I almost did this too while shopping around for save the dates Smiley xd I was like "man this is kinda pricey" then I realized I only needed half of that amount and thought "oh, well that's a lot better" lol

    LOL! That is easy to mix-up! I swear bridal brain is real. I totally missed my hair appointment a couple weeks ago. I don't know how....had it written on my calendar and everything. I was even out running errands in the same area as the salon and it didn't even dawn on me about my appointment. Just wedding stuff on the brain, I guess!

    I'm glad you caught it!! I luckily had a big coupon so I didn't even notice at first! Now I'm like I wonder how cheap they could have been... At least it wasn't the invites! With all the extras that go with them I may not have had a great sense of humor about those!

    My FMIL is literally the only reason I didn't do this. We were speaking on the phone right before I ordered and she mentioned how we would only need 125 and I reminded her we were inviting 230 and that's when she had to explain to me lol.

    I did that... for 200 guest... so I ordered about 110 too many!!!! I could have died! At least I got them half off so I only ended up paying full price?
