Here is my dress!! Should i cover the neckline?

Ashley, on June 12, 2018 at 4:35 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 25
Hi everyone. I didnt have a picture of my dress to share with you all do I went back today to take a pic and share with everyone. I absolutely love it. Fits my personality and goes so well with my wedding theme. Question is should I close the plunging v neck, put a sheer piece in, or rock it the way it is? I dont know what to do. I feel like the plunging neck line makes the dress look young and not matronly. Help!

Oh my, that is low, and also tight. I would try to make it a little more modest. I’m not a grandma or anything but this is a bit much.

Wow I love this on you, it looks absolutely stunning!! Smiley love Honestly if you feel comfortable in it the way it is I would say let it be and just rock it!!Smiley heart If your hesitant about it I would suggest putting a sheer piece with maybe some sparkles or lace if that matches your dress. Did you ask your stylist what they recommend? Do you know if you want to wear your hair up or down?

I think it's how comfortable you feel and how you think your guests would feel! I generally pretty modestly (personal choice, it's what I'm comfortable in) and my family would be shocked and probably a bit uncomfortable to see me in a dress with that much cleavage.

However, if you normally show cleavage and are comfortable with the dress then I say leave at is!

Either way, it is a beautiful dress!

I am hesitant about it. I thinks its beautiful the way it is but a little much for my taste. I am getting mixed suggestions from the bridal shop and bridal party. I am wearing it half way up and down. Mostly going towards the back.

Gorgeous dress, and it looks gorgeous on you.

If you feel comfortable enough with that neckline, rock it! It really does look amazing on you 😊

That dress looks amazing on you! I would suggest adding an illusion triangle (not all the way up, maybe a third of the way up). But girl, you are rocking that dress.

Wow, you look drop dead gorgeous! I think the only concerns that come into play is if you’re having a religious ceremony and how comfortable you are. If it’s religious, I definitely would close it up. If not, and you’re totally comfortable, wear it exactly as is. It compliments you perfectly! I, myself, would probably add a sheer cover (not completely, just a bit) but that’s only because I love the way it looks. Regardless, this dress was made for you! xx

Wow that looks so good on you! I love the look of this dress on you!

If it's just about appearance, I don't think you need to alter it. However, if you feel at all uncomfortable (like maybe your boobs aren't secure enough...I know I feel like this sometimes lol) a tulle illusion insert would be barely visible and give you some extra support. Mine has a low-ish neckline and just a small tulle panel that is pretty much invisible from far away, but helps me feel confident everything will stay in place!

I haven't had it altered yet but I am definitely having cups added. In this pic I have push up cups just placed awkwardly in there lol, but my boobs looked sooo much better with the cups vs without.

    ROCK. THAT. BODY. Wooooo!!!
I also have a deep neckline. My mom told me to cover it but honestly? I love how I look it in!! So if by any reason anybody is concerned about visible skin cells (cause thats all it is) then they need to 1. Pay more attention to their wives 2. Pay more attention to themselves 3. Remember that my body, my rules.
    POSITIVITY!!!
