"Here comes my Mommy" sign...

Michele, on March 16, 2014 at 8:55 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 6

My fiancé and I both have children and we want to include them in our ceremony. His daughter (17) is my maid of honor, his son (19) is his best man, and my son (5) is ring bearer. Instead of the typical ring and pillows, I was thinking about having my son carry a sign that says "here comes my mommy" right before I walk down the isle. I saw this online and thought it was such a sweet idea. What do you think? Have you ever seen this done at a wedding?

Yeah. It was easy. I followed a tutorial online. I used chalk to stencil the outline

I plan on doing it. FH son is 4 and mine is 2. So either his son will carry ring box and my son will carry the sign. Or a "his & her" box, my son carry mine and his son carries his. Then both walk together with a sign. We are still deciding. But I won't be having a flower girl.
