Help with planning ceremony officiated by brother

Anyone do their own ceremony with a family member or friend as the officiant? Any advice for how to plan that out? We are going for a very casual, short ceremony (non-religious), but other than that I’m not sure what I want to include - having trouble finding examples of what I’m going for!

I’m in the same situation, we have a friend doing ours and I’m lost. I did google wedding ceremonies and I found very little info, I’m just going to put something together. I hope you find what you’re looking for!

My brother officiated our ceremony. We just googled a lot of examples, pulled out parts we liked, and then revised some of the wording to make it more our own. Then my brother added in a couple personal lines as well.

My FH's friend is officiating. He's great at public speaking...really funny and confident. We're writing our own vows to each other, so our officiant is mostly there to break the ice, sign the license, make sure the rings are exchanged, etc. We *might* have him do the old fashioned vows as well to cap it off.

Husband's uncle officiated. He put together some stuff about love and told a cute story about us as a couple. we wrote our own vows, and then he said the legal stuff he has to say based on our state. Our entire ceremony was about 10 minutes long.
