Im looking over wedding details. Im planning on spending my stimulus money to pay off the wedding. Money I had already put aside and money I still need to put aside. So I need help with a few things.

1. How much would you pay 2 friends to bartend for 6hours? DH is going to have 2 friends bartend. No mixed drinks just pour and serve. And they need to turn on and tend to margarita machine (Also theres no hurt feelings being asked to work at the wedding) would you pay $25/hr? So $150 each?
2. I dont know how many ppl we will have, Im guessing 100ppl minimum (right now we are allowed 90ppl) by October. Should I set aside $500 for wine? (I know I might need more) Drink menu: sangria, white wine, 2 flavors of margaritas. We already have all the tequila we need and half of the sangria. Just need a few cases of sangria, all of white wine and sodas, water, apple cider.

California does not require bartending licenses to bartend. I cant find any local regulations for serving alcohol at private events, only liquor licensing for businesses that sell liquor.

Call the local liquor board for your city/county and ask them. You can find them by doing a Google search

I just called and they stated the same thing that I posted in the screenshot. There are no regulations for private events such as weddings and no liquor license is needed.
