HELP I BURNED MY FACE

Okay, so I'm an idiot. I burned my face two days ago with my straightener. I was rushing and I got careless. Now I have two burn marks on my cheek. Are there any natural home remedies to prevent the burns from scarring??? Also, any tips for clear, soft skin? My wedding is next month. I'm not one...

Also, any tips for clear, soft skin? My wedding is next month. I'm not one prone to acne, but I have been having a few breakouts lately. Probably stress-related. Let me know if yall have had any successful home treatments!

Okay, do you got get advice for the burn... i hope that goes well for you.

As for the acne, try a low cost facial cleanser brush and use a gentle cleanser (I have the olay brush). Then make sure you use a moisturizer. Something light weight, but one that gets the job done.(I use elf brand hydrating serum... I've tried many and love this one)

Another tip. When you are washing your face, don't rush. Let that be a calm 2 minute reset to your busy life and day.

Silvadene works awesome I had second degree burnes on both of my legs and I have no scars. You probably just need a over the counter burn cream, go talk to a pharmacist

I just let burns heal on their own...maybe some neosporin but that's about it. Unless you let the iron just sit on your skin I'm sure it'll heal quickly. I burned my wrist about a month ago on a 310 degree flat iron and it was healed within a week and my hands/wrists take some abuse when unloading shipment at work. I use mederma to fade scars but the scar from this burn is so faint you can't even see it.

This is why we need weekend admins. This thread should be locked or taken down. This isn't the right place to ask this info. WWers have no business giving out medical advice, not that there aren't people qualified on the threads, but obviously it could be potentially dangerous if the OP takes the wrong advice. Which admin do you email for weekend stuff? Lynnie? Laura?
