Help... Getting married abroad from Uk.. Uk tour operator?!

Hello..

I am really really hoping somebody can help me.

We are TRYING to plan a wedding abroad in the idea that we thought it would be less stressful than planning a wedding in the UK... I’m starting to be proven wrong.

I'm hoping as soon as we've got the ball rolling it will start to be better but right now I’m pulling my hair out!

Ideally I want a travel agents that can book myself, Fiancé and our wedding guests all in one booking then assist with the hotel in planning our wedding.

I want an adults only resort in the Dominican republic I've found the resort I want.. went into TUI and to be honest I have had no joy! I was told it was all possible and they would email me with the details, I also had a request of having a private honeymoon for a few nights away from the guests which I was also told this was also possible. I have heard nothing further from the original staff member, I have contacted other Tui representatives who have told me they can't assist with the wedding or separate honeymoon.. really disappointed and not impressed.

I have contacted the hotel directly but before I go down that road.. can anyone recommend anybody UK based that will help with the holiday booking and wedding side of things?

Before I give up all together!

Are there any local travel agents in your area that you would be able to drop into to see if they would manage all of your and your guests bookings? It would then be possible to give your guests the travel agents details for them to arrange their own booking.
Unfortunately, there are no UK based travel agents listed in our vendor directory. There is no need to get discouraged though! If you already know the resort that you want to hold your wedding in, you could contact them and ask about the services that their on-site wedding coordinator offers. This might put your mind at ease a bit more, as I know it can be daunting to plan from so far away. What resort are you hoping to stay at?
To help your guests with their hotel bookings, you could organize a hotel block through WeddingWire which would give a guaranteed price per room in your selected hotels.
Do you know roughly what your expected guest count will be?
