Hi all,

Newly engaged and new to this site. My fiancé and I are looking to get married in Fall 2020. We just got engaged last week and can’t believe how booked up venues are for Saturday’s during that time. We have a pretty flexible budget and aren’t tied to any one area, although targeting MA or s. NH. Any advice, leads, tips, experiences you can share and help with?

Have you checked out Four Oaks Country Club in Dracut?
It is beautiful there...that's where I am getting married next October!

From what I have experienced with venue shopping as you will SEPT and OCT book fast especially Saturdays. I ended up going with a Nov date because of this. It all depends on what you want in your venue and if you are doing one with catering or without. In my opinion finding the venue is one of the toughest decisions.

Hi Jenene,

We are getting married this December at Tupper Manor and when we looked, about a year ago, they still had a few dates open. When we first started looking for dates I was able to give some venues a month and they would send me open dates. Tupper did that for us, so we were able to find a date that we liked.
Another location you might want to look at is Ipswich Country Club. My future husband works there and it is really pretty!
