Help! Finding a venue for under $2,000 in North Texas?

Lelly7, on May 23, 2016 at 12:01 AM Posted in Planning 0 6

My fiance and I are getting married next year (aiming for late March or early April), we are budgeting and we want to keep the wedding lower cost. We are trying to find a venue for $2,000 MAX that can hold up to 200 people but it has been difficult. We'd really prefer not doing it outside even though that might be easier cause the weather here is so finicky. It could be hot, cold, raining, anything. I don't want to risk bad weather ruining the day. We don't want to spend much more than that on the venue as we'll need the rest of our budget for food, favors, cake, decoration, music etc.

Can anyone suggest some spots in North Texas that can hold 200 for only $2,000? We live in the Collin and Denton county areas. Frisco, Plano, Richardson, Carrollton, The Colony, Lewisville are some very close cities to us. Open to going a little further if the price is right! We are really looking for one that we can do ceremony and reception (room for dancing as well as ceremony).

I'd say check the vendor tab. I know in the Austin area, that's really hard to come by. Ours is more than triple that and holds 300.

You can find a venue for that much or less but you might have to go with their catering etc. You can also check with churches because they might be less. Good luck!

Is there an Abuelos near you? They have really good food and huge party rooms for wedding receptions. They're also not too expensive!

A Bella Vita in Seagoville starts at 2500. I ran across them in my venue search. We're having a much smaller wedding and opted to stay in the Metroplex.

Check out Richardson civic center, depending on your needs its in the neighborhood of 1800, would hold I think 350 people or so. But you need your own decor so I don't know

The Free wedding chapel in Austin Tx. Google it. It's beautiful. Although it is outside.
