Help finding a ceremony in Los Angeles

Hi Beautiful Brides and Brides to be !
I need some help with planning a simple wedding ceremony for my fiancé’s parents . We don’t want to spend a lot of money at all . We want it super simple , like 20 min ceremony in park and then go eat at a restaurant after. I’m having a hard time finding the perfect spot for ceremony . I have checked out peerspace , renting someone’s back yard was way more pricey then renting a space on Airb&B . We’re looking at parks and they don’t really have a good set up . This is turning out to be more work then our destination wedding . Does anyone have any ideas cheap venues and such ? Anything thins will do , we just need options .

How much are you looking to spend exactly? That will help a lot with recommendations since one person’s idea of cheap will differ from another person’s. You might also want to consider picking a restaurant that could accommodate a ceremony as well. It might be way more convenient planning-wise since you wouldn’t have to figure out set up/clean up, sound system, or chair rentals. Unfortunately, places that have those things figured out are going to have that reflected in their pricing.

Have you checked out LA Parks’ special events brochure? They don’t seem crazy expensive and have been used for ceremonies/receptions before.

If you’re willing to go to Orange County, Oak Canyon Nature Center in Anaheim is a ceremony-only venue and is $906 for non-Anaheim residents. Ceremonies take place in their outdoor amphitheater with bench seating and sound system included.

The French Estate in Orange is $850 for a under 50 person ceremony, and also comes with all the basics, like chairs and sound system.

The Pelican Courtyard in Newport Beach is supposedly super affordable and super flexible with what your vision is. I believe they allow ceremonies without receptions. On The Knot, their per hour rate is $350, but you’d have to reach out for official pricing.

Hillcrest Terrace in Fullerton is super cheap if you’re open to a weekday/non-Saturday ceremony. $60 per hour for weekday, or $90 per hour for Friday/Sunday.

The Arts Garden at the Brea Community Center is less than $250 an hour, and cheaper if you pick a non-prime time. Chairs are included.
