Help a girl out!

I forgot to include a dress code on my invitation, I know some people do not. My ceremony is outside and my reception is in a barn so it sounds casual but I would consider it semi-formal. The venue also does not recommend wearing heels an I was going to include that tip. Should I post it on my wedding website? I put our website on our save the date but I don't know how many people actually check it. Also should I have a wedding program? I am very torn about this since my ceremony and reception are at the same venue. Thank you for any advice! It's appreciated.

Definitely put it on the website and try to spread it word of mouth, especially the high heels thing! As for programs, I think that's just personal preference, especially if the ceremony and reception are in the same space. I personally wouldn't spend the money on it, but if you want/have the budget for them, go for it.

Dress code and shoes on the website is good. I'm not bothering with a program but may make a sign as a keepsake and people can see who was in the wedding party.

I didn't include dress code on the invitations. FH said people know hoe to dress for weddings. Lol and for programs, totally skipping that.

We put the dress code on the website only. A few of my husbands hooligan friends texted us to ask if their outfits were okay (they weren’t lol and they fixed it) but otherwise it worked great and everyone showed up looking fabulous.

We were not going to have a program but my mother in law took it upon herself to purchase a template. I was like okay, sure no biggie. She used her work printer to print them all (lol she didn’t get caught) and folded them all so I couldn’t complain 😂. If she didn’t do all the work We wouldn’t have had them.

You should put the dress code up on your website as well as letting guest know by phone/txt/emails.

You can include it in your website and word of mouth like first poster. The high heel situation is the most important as it may be a trip hazard. The dress code is least important as many people do know how to dress for a wedding unless you have specific wants like a country theme or formal white tie. The barn style will possibly get some jeans but other than that I think semi formal is typically the go-to for attire! Doesn't hurt to try to help the situation by putting it

I put dress code on my wedding website. I still had people ask me already what to wear when I saw them. I might put it on the details card as well. Word of mouth you might have to do since not everyone checks the website. Do you have a details card for your invites? I wouldn't do programs simply because it's a waste of paper. Nobody cares about holding or needing a program.

Ours just says it on our website! Our save the date or invite didn't say it. A program is optional, not required!
