Hi friends. I’m looking for a good dozen or so at least decent sized lanterns to line the aisles for the ceremony, only they’re pretty expensive wherever I search. Has anybody found a place that sells decent quality lanterns that won’t cost an arm and a leg? My budget thanks you.

Do they have Big Lots stores where you live? I've seen lanterns there recently for 50% off in their summer clearance. There were a variety of sizes and styles.

I dont know what constitutes cheap to tou but saveoncrafts.com has lots of nice looking ones for about $12.

Definitely check Michaels! My store had them on sale but also had some "out of season" ones in the clearance aisle for super cheap

IKEA lanterns are $10. They also have tiny lanterns for tea lights which are $3.99

I saw a bunch in the "new" section of my local goodwill. Maybe try there? They were $8-$10 depending on size.

I've seen a few listings on FB Marketplace with lanterns. It can be hit and miss depending on the area you are in. I have only been successful in finding one thing from FB marketplace for my centerpieces. It was 18 small fish bowls for only $5!

Check FB marketplace and your local wedding resale FB groups! I've seen a ton of brides selling them in my area! I've gotten a ton of decorations from both of those places.

I live in WNY and there's a facebook group where people in my area sell used wedding supplies/decorations for a discounted price ( or sometimes give away for free) , maybe there is something similar where you live where you can buy them much cheaper than buying new.
