Heights of Bridesmaid/Maid of Honour

Height does not matter. Its all up to you. I'm not really with the uniformed look. I might just mix up the heights of our wedding party.

Does it bother you if their shoes match? If it doesn't bother you then I would just have them all wear heels in a different height, Have the tallest wear flats or maybe a 1" heal and the others 2" or 3" heels.

I couldn't even tell you how tall my bridesmaids are. I picked the people who are the most important to me. I don't think it will look weird.

I promise you that no one will care if your bridesmaids aren't all the same height.

Who cares what it looks like? Pick the people that you are closest to.

Mine will all be lined up the order I chose (based on order of closeness in friendship) and everyone is very different in height so I know mine is gonna look odd with the staggering of heights but there isn't too much I can do unless I partner the guys and girls based on height and IDK how I would do that without lining them all up lol ... good luck! I think b/c it's only 3 girls it won't look bad if they are all different heights and not in any order!

I never thought about that. I was only a little concerned because the heights are SO different, but it's true, I probably should just pick based on who matters most! And I suppose it's only the ceremony where they all have to stand next to each other.

I didn't decide how to line them up by height - just how things turn out. I based it on my relationships, like my family is in line ahead of friends. height doesn't matter to me i guess

Height is irrelevant. No one's going to look at them and go, "Ugh, the bride put them in the wrong order," or, "The bride should have made them wear different shoes!"

And you'll look at your wedding photos later on and think, "I had such a wonderful wedding, look at how great my bridesmaids looked!" and not, "UGH height problems!"

I'm 5'11" and if I ever found out my friend didn't pick me because of my height, we might not be so close. Its not about height or looks or hair color... its about the most important people in your life standing next to you while you make a commitment of a lifetime.

I matched our guys and girls up by height and had them in an order not by height. They rearranged themselves at the rehearsal and it looked great!
