Heels/flats

Morgan, on April 23, 2020 at 6:16 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 9
Hello ladies! I would love to wear heels for my wedding but I have a bad ankle that wont let me wear anything above 2in. I'd wear boots (cowboy) but I think I'd make my mother cry lol

Show me your short heels or flats! I cant find anything cute

Go to Badgly Miscka. They have gorgeous flats for weddings. Pricey but you can always wear them again. I have worn mine probably 7 timew now for special events.

I’m going to do nice sandals with MAYBE an inch of heel. Something similar to this. I can walk fine in heels but I want to be comfortable and not have the stress tripping while walking down the aisle. Heels/flats 1

I got my flats at Dillard's before they went out of business! I think you can find some cute flats if you want! Also why not the boots? It's your wedding and if you feel comfortable in it then u say go for it! Maybe do ceremony the flats and reception boots?Heels/flats 2

I wore a small wedge heel. I didn’t want anything too tall, and the wedge provided more stability for standing all day. Also, my dress covered my shoes so they didn’t show that much anyway.

Why not both... Find a heel or something your mom really likes for the ceremony (if you really need to appease her) and then at the reception, bust out the boots? They're more comfortable and it sounds like they're more you anyway. Also, you can always use your ankle as an excuse to get out of shoes with heels or with no support.

My heels look similar to Emily's - neutral, nude, simple, and easy to re-purpose after the wedding. Badgley Mischka Jewel make a few bedazzled wedges that are less than 2" and there are plenty of low heel options out there that are very glam if you want something a little fancier and more flashy.
