Heel Protectors

Natalie, on November 28, 2014 at 10:32 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 4

I am super excited I got a very cute pair of Kate Spade heels to wear. However my ceremony is going to be outside on grass so I am considering buying heel protectors to wear.

Have any of you used heel protectors? Would you recommend them? Which brand have you used- Solemates, Starlettos, Heels Above, something else? Thanks for any advice you can provide.

I bought some I intended to use. I got them from David's bridal for $11. As to the use, I don't know, the photographers were playing with my shoes and they never got put on. I'm so bummed cuz my heels kept sinking in the grass. Thankfully I had my dad and my husbands arms to cling to.

I used the ones from David's Bridal for a friend's wedding that I was a BM in. I set my FH out the day of to get them since it had rained the night before. My advice...make sure you have your shoes with you when you buy them so you can get the correct size. They come small, medium and large. I thought small would be equivalent to the stilettos that most of the BP had. Nope! They are super small. Still not sure what size heel would fit in them.

I've used these ones and they worked great: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007WG6P8Q/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. As far as I know, they weren't noticeable. The grass helps hide them.

Like Megan said, make sure to get the right size. I know Solemates has a size chart, which is how I figured out which ones to get.
