Head table but only because the SO's of the wedding party that aren't in it themselves all know others that will be at the wedding. If someone didn't we would probably just sit at a regular table. We hate the idea of us just by ourselves, people looking at us. It gives me goosebumps and not in a good way!

Sweetheart table. We are having 12 bridesmaid and 12 groomsmen so way too big for a head table! Plus I don’t want to split people up from their significant others/children.

Then don’t have one! We’re not. We’re sitting with friends who don’t have a clear group to sit with.

My friend did a "significant others of the bridal party" reserved table near her head table and it worked out really well. The bridal party were the only ones seated at the head table but the others were close enough to join in conversation, and treated like VIPs (called for dinner after the head table, etc). Besides, you're only really at your table for dinner!

We're doing the sweet heart table too! We want some personal time on our wedding day, even if it's for 10 min.

We are doing a sweetheart table. We have 12 people in our bridal party so we will be having two tables for them so they can sit with their significant others.

That sounds awesome, I wish I had thought about that when I had my planning meeting 😔. Now, the way the room is set up, the table for the SO's wouldn't be close to us.

Were doing a headtable but I really wish the space would allow for us to do a sweetheart table. The space we have is small and we’re maxing capacity so the only way to do it is to have a headtable. Personally I love the idea of just eating our first meal together just us.

We had a very small bridal party, but we chose to have a sweetheart table anyway. It was really nice having a little time for conversation between just the two of us. And as soon as everyone started to finish eating we cut the cake and started mingling.

We are doing a Sweetheart table. Our bridal party is pretty large (8 on both sides), so a head table would be too big. FH and I figured we could have a few moments to ourselves, as well, with a Sweetheart table.

We are doing a sweetheart table. Our wedding party can sit with their friends and SOs. Anyways, we will probably be up most of the time to greet guests... it doesn’t make sense to us to make the wedding party sit together just for us to mostly abandon them.

We are doing a head table with our families. The bridal party will be at their own tables with their SO's. We love the idea of the head table but with a wedding party of 16 it would be crazy to try it with everyone and their So's.

We will probably do a sweetheart table, but I'm getting a lot of flack about it from my family. Everyone has always done a head table. But, I don't think we can fit SOs (and a few kids) all at one table at our venue. We have 4 on each side, plus a jr. bridesmaid, flower girl and ring bearer. I hope to do a sweetheart table with the bridal party/SOs and parents at nearby tables.

Sweetheart table! Our bridal party has significant others who aren't in our bridal party so the table would have to be huge. We'd rather they sit at tables with their significant others/family and FH can be alone. Hopefully people will get the hint not to come up to us while we eat!
