Hayley Paige Brides!!

Wow, I haven’t heard about this. Anyone I know that bought a dress from her had nothing but good things to say. Where’d you hear this ?

One girl had a long sleeve dress and said her husband was holding her arm for a picture and the sleeve ripped, the other two said a strap broke during the reception!

There’s someone on here - Rachel I think- who has many posts about hailey page dresses I’d try to find her forums. There are a lot.

I was a Hayley Paige bride and had zero issues with my dress. It was well made and gorgeous! I have not heard of this happening, but I'm wondering if it was due to alterations?

I had a very heavy Hayley Paige dress with straps and it held up wonderfully - I didn't have any issues!

What kind of ripping stories have you heard? One thing I've heard about blingy gowns (which many of Hayley Paige's dress are) - is that a beaded/sequined bodice can irritate your underarms, or that you could snag lace or illusion sleeves on the beading. But I haven't heard negative things about dress quality!

Your dress is beautiful! The one person who I heard of had the Lumi gown with a very sheer delicate sleeve, and it ripped right at the shoulder before her reception (so the sleeve like almost came fully off of the dress) and luckily her coordinator was able to fix it with some pins.

The other two are friends of friends and I believe they both had dresses with thin straps that snapped as they were dancing.

My dress is the Hayley dress, so it does have long sleeves, and that is why I am extra nervous if a sleeve ripped at the shoulder! I didn't even think of it until I heard these stories!

It makes me feel better that you haven't heard anything, so I hope those instances were just one-offs or maybe they were being a little more rowdy on the dance floor than I will be!

I had posted a ton of pictures of Hayley Paige dresses prior to actually going and trying some on, and in all of my research I’ve never heard of her dresses consistently ripping. I tried on her long sleeved Fleetwood gown and it felt so well made! I think you will be fine! 😁 I ultimately decided on her Nelson gown which is sleeveless, but the quality felt wonderful. You will be okay!

Oh yikes! The Lumi gown is SO gorgeous, but I can totally see how fragile the sleeves could be! I'm plus size and top-heavy 😉 and my straps felt super secure!

I'd also recommend taking extra care with how you hang and store your gown before the wedding - they may recommend laying it flat or hanging from inner straps instead of by the delicate sleeves!
