GO TO THE MAUI PINEAPPLE TOUR!

Also visit the shops in Lahaina. And go to Kimo's and get a hula pie (look it up!)

Go snorkeling at black rock on kaanapali beach

Definitely take advantage of each restaurant's happy hours!

Following! Never been to Hawaii but FH went once, would love to snorkel and FH keeps talking about some bike tour where they bring the bikes up the mountain for you and you bike down.

Lanikai is the most beautiful beach on O'ahu. Go there at night too for great star gazing. Take a drive on the Liki Liki Highway and stop along the way for hiking trails. Also a good look out over the cliffs along the way. Check out Mac 24/7 in Waikiki. Shop at San Lorenzo for a bikini. Get some Hawaiian Shave Ice. It's a million times better than a snow cone. Eat a spam masubi from a gas station. Stop at a food truck for a lunch plate any chance you get and always try poki. Even if it's from the super market. ***Check out Turtle Beach on the north Shore***, jump off of the cliff when you ride by Waimanalo Beach Park. Stop by pipeline too. Go to Dole Plantation and eat some of the pineapple sherburt. Get a box of shortbread cookies from the Aloha Cookie Company and last but not least, visit Chinatown in downtown Honolulu. There are cool bars and shops. Also, there are some neat palaces and gadgets off of Queen Street so feel free to park and cruise around. Oh yes, and do not jay walk and watch where you park. They give parking tickets for everything there.

Happy to help. I lived on O'ahu for a year and had a lot of time to explore. There is a cool blow hole on O'ahu too. Worth checking out.

My husband's little brother is stationed there with the Army right now...which is part of the reason why we are going. He's super adventurous so we'll also take suggestion from him too

Omg! I got engaged in Hawaii.. North shore of Oahu to be exact! Don't waste your time at Pearl Harbor ! Go to Haleiwa and go to the north shore... Have an acai bowl and coffee at cafe gallery (freaking amazing) Maybe stay at turtle bay resort if you can ... It's amazing !!! Luau sucks too... Think non touristy and you'll be better off ... Go to lanikai beach for sure ...

@bappybride Good tips! I am skipping road to Hana too, because I don't like narrow/curving roads (carsick).

Someone mentioned the drive up the volcano on Maui was bad? Is it really steep or something?
