Soooo I'm having second thoughts on my fingertip length veil. It's gorgeous with my dress, but I've always envisioned myself with a cathedral veil! I would switch in a heart beat, but I'm honestly unsure if a cathedral veil would go with my dress. I LOVE my train and would hate to cover it up, but I also love the look of a cathedral veil. Ugh, what do you ladies think?

I think a cathedral veil would go great with your dress! Veils are sheer anyways, so I don't think it'll take away from your train

I loved my dress train & still had a cathedral veil! I'm super happy I did. It looked stunning in pictures & so bridal. I took it off for the reception. Here are a few pics!

Thank you! Yeah I just felt super bridal & fancy, and I feel like it photographed so well! I'm super happy I went with a cathedral length veil.

I was in the same situation and I knew in my gut I wanted a cathedral length to add that extraness to it and I don’t think it takes away from my dress or train at all!!

I think I will go with what my gut is telling me! I know it's a small detail from the whole wedding, but I think I would regret it if I didn't just go with the cathedral veil! Thank you💖 Now I'll need to figure out if I want a plain cathedral veil or something with a little lace or flower applique! I'm leaning towards a simple plain one since my dress is so detailed with 3D flowers and lace.

I’d go with the cathedral veil but make sure any details on the veil are around the perimeter so as to not cover up most of the details of the dress, I think they’ll still totally show through!

I personally like cathedral veils with cathedral or very long trains. It looks a little mismatched and frumpy otherwise. unless you're just walking straight or standing, then it's nice. For your dress I love anything between a fingertip and a chapel.
