Having doubts about dress

It is a beautiful dress and fits you perfectly! However, I agree that it isn't one I'd imagine for a beach wedding. If you're having second thoughts you could sell it?

It ISN'T the first thing you think of when you think beach wedding, but if you loved this dress when you bought it, why shouldn't you wear it?

I think, if you actually love the dress, then you shouldn't let the venue stop you from wearing it. BUT, if you DON'T love it... you deserve to feel special and beautiful and perfect on your day, and if that's not how you're feeling... maybe do sell it and find something else?

Your dress is beautiful ! I've seen brides in "beach" dresses in October in Europe, that was much worse ;-) You have to feel good and beautiful. If the dress does the job - go for it !

I think you look beautiful in the dress. Their are no rules that say you have to wear a certain type of dress for a beach wedding. You wear what you feel beautiful in. I think sometimes we doubt ourself but just remember what you love about the dress.

Are you getting married BY the beach or ON the beach? I would say it's not the typical ON the beach wedding, but it can still work. If you're getting married in a pavilion near the beach or something, it'll be stunning. This was my cousin's wedding and while she didn't have a ballgown, she also didn't have to worry about her train and sand.

I think it's beautiful and will make you stand out. If you are still concerned maybe consider a separate dress from ceremony/reception.

The dress looks great on you! I love the detail on it. I agree with what most have said…it’s not what comes to mind for a beach wedding as it seems “heavy” for Jamaica; however, if YOU love the dress and how you feel in the dress then rock it!!! What do you see yourself in on your wedding day? Close your eyes and try to imagine it….is it something different or this dress?
