Having a veil?

I love the look of veils, but I'm doing this headband instead:

The real beauty of having a veil is that you don't have to keep it on the whole night. Personally, I didn't feel like a "bride" until I saw the dress with a veil. Although I'm not getting the veil I originally tried on, I'm fortunate enough to be able to borrow one from a girlfriend that recently got married. It's totally up to you, of course, but there are also so many other options if you decide that the veil is not the way to go for you.

I'm thinking about opting for a cape instead. I have a headpiece in mind and I want that to stand on its own and the cape can add some drama and volume to my look since I'm relatively certain I'm going for a sheath silhouette.

I've seen really pretty pictures on pinterest of brides that have some kind of headband and also a veil!

I made myself a cape veil! Just finished it yesterday! I love the added drama.
