Having 9 year old son walk me down the aisle with my dad?

I have two sons. My oldest will be nice and youngest will be seven when I get married next year. They've always been my little men and my youngest will be my ring bearer. I was thinking of having my oldest walk me down the aisle with my dad. Has any body ever done this before? Just looking for options. I'm not doing a flower girl. And really just wanted to incorporate both my boys in the wedding.

    Yes! I think it's a great option! Just make sure the youngest won't feel like big brother got a more important role, but as long as they're both happy with it, definitely do it!

    This s my second wedding, and my then eight-year-old will be the only one walking me down the aisle. I already talked to my dad, and he’s more than happy to relinquish that position to my son. Especially since he already did it for my last wedding. My son is ecstatic with his role, won’t stop talking about it!

    This is my second wedding.. my dad isn't in the picture anymore. So I asked my two sons ages 30 and 26 to walk me to my FH. They are excited to do it!! 💖
