FI and I are planning a cheap wedding. It seemed we could easily save the most on the venue. I read online about renting out a nice airbnb. I live in Michigan so there are A LOT of cute lake houses/cottages. We were thinking of renting it for at least the day before the wedding and the day of and doing the ceremony and reception off in the yard/private beach. What's been your experience for an airbnb wedding venue?

    Hi Boinkin, This is incredibly helpful info. I know this is a really old thread, but I am looking at doing something similar without around the same number of guests ~60 at an airbnb in Virginia. We are trying to stay under $25,000. Where was the bnb located that yall did your event at?
