Definitely try Macy’s or Belk! Both have really good sales all the time. We’re planning on getting the guys’ suits from Macy’s, and they had some really nice vests too. 😊 They also have an additional 30% off sale going on right now!

I’ve seen kohl’s come up a few times as a good place for affordable men’s dress attire.

I agree with pps regarding department stores. Keep in mind, there will likely be GREAT sales in early-mid June for Father's Day/Graduations. In the meanwhile, be on the lookout for additional coupons. Last June, daughter bought all the groomsmen's white dress shirts during the Kohl's Father's Day sale (shirts were on sale for $10, then she added a 30% off coupon, and some other discounts like Kohl's cash, and some "spend XX amount, get $10 off" type promotional coupons, and a free delivery code). By the time she was done, the shirts cost less than $6 a shirt for a name brand, nice quality white dress shirt.... Items like slacks and vests (probably advertised as "suit separates") will be similarly discounted in June. I'd just make sure you know sizes/measurements in advance, because your best bet at finding everything you need will likely be ordering/purchasing online, as in store selections might be pretty picked over. You and FH should plan on visiting stores and trying things on ahead of time, so you know what you like/want ahead of time, and then just wait for the sales. (This will work for higher-end items as well, we bought the FOB's Ralph Lauren three-piece suit at Macy's for less than half-price -- still $300 -- but a significant savings.)

Jc Penney had some dirt cheap sales during Easter, I'm sure they will have more with fathers day and prom coming up.
