Hashtag/wedding website

Are these actual things? Do we need them? What is a good hashtag for the last name Cotton? I don’t know where to even begin on this type of stuff. What is a wedding website? I’m so lost. 😐

We've found the wedding website to be extremely helpful since we have so many guests traveling. We put all information they would need about accommodations, best places to eat in the area, etc.

The hashtag is partly just for fun but also because when guests use the hashtag when posting pictures of your wedding it's easier just to search the hashtag to see all photos posted rather than scroll through instagram to try to find all photos guests posted.

If you don't feel the need to have a wedding website or hashtag I'd say it's not a necessity but can be helpfulSmiley shame

The wedding website was extremely helpful because it allowed our out of town guests to find information about where they were staying, some good (local) food recommendations, travel/hotel recommendations, etc. A lot of their questions were answered too in the Q&A section.

The hashtag, I first thought, wouldn't be helpful. Come to find out, it was extremely helpful! When we got back from the honeymoon, we were able to see all the pictures our friends took when they used the hashtag! So it was cool to see pictures taken that we had no idea about!

Think of a wedding website as a replacement for your "details" card in the invites. It's a great way to communicate lodging and travel and other details about your special day. You can add other info like how you met your spouse, have your guests RSVP online, and I know WW has a section where guests can request songs or sign an online guestbook.

A hashtag, I'm not a fan. Me and my husband don't really use social media too much so we didn't do one. Also, any pictures that were worth sharing were just sent to us via text message.

I thought having a wedding website wa shoenstly so stupid till i set on up through TheKnot.com and it has made wedding planning 10000% better. It makes it easier for your guests to find all of your wedding information such as time, date, address, registries, things to do near your venue, who all is the bridal party and stuff like that. A wedding hashtag isn’t AS necessary however my fiancé and i already had an Instagram hashtag going for all of our pictures so we’re just using that to find any possible posted wedding pictures from our guests(: you’re welcome to check both of mine out if you’d like! Here is my wedding website: https://www.theknot.com/us/jessie-snyder-and-alyssa-glasper-may-2019 and this is our instragam hastag #JessAndAly
