Hashtags are pointless. People don't spell them correctly or forget to use them.

Hashtag posts tend to get a lot of shade on this site... don't worry you aren't the first one. Just have to ignore the haters. This was a huge fight on this site before. Some of us were like just don't comment if you don't have anything positive to say and the other side was saying how stupid hashtags are. I am using a hashtag and every wedding I have seen is using them and people do actually use them especially on Instagram. I think it is a younger generation thing. We are doing #PartyWithThePrestridges people have used the hashtag on every wedding picture they posted of us so far like bridal shower, planning pictures, and bachelorette stuff. For our wedding I'm sure they will continue using them. People always ask what our hashtag is.

Guess I'm not part of the "younger generation" as no one I know has really utilized a wedding hashtag.

No one is tearing her apart. It's hard to make a hashtag if you don't know the couple. I've thought a hashtag is a personality thing, we can't give you a hashtag if we don't know you.

If you read correctly i said you will get torn apart. I never said she got torn apart. Back up and cool it fr. She's asking for help and that's what we are supposed to be here for... Support, sharing stories, ideas etc... If you don't have a hastag or something helpful or encouraging then why join the thread in the 1st place?

The problem is, I see at least 5 of these posts a day. Perhaps there should be a pinned post for these requests.

There's also various hashtag generators that can be used. I used one as well, just for fun.
