Hiya! What are your thoughts on including our hashtag in our invite, right at the bottom?

I personally wouldn't. I'd put it on my wedding website, and maybe post it on a sign somewhere at the ceremony and/or reception venue. Also word of mouth.

No I would not do this, as previously said it will ruin the formality of your invite! Also it may take up space where other and more important information should be listed

Nope. put it on your website if you must....otherwise just post a pic on social media using your hashtag. people will get it. And post some little sign at the reception to remind people what it is. please don't put a dumb hashtag on pretty wedding invites that you will keep as a memento.

I would leave your hashtag off of the actual invitation, just because they are supposed to be a formal invite! I think your hashtag is perfect for save the dates, your wedding website, welcome bags, and signs at the wedding!

I wouldnt put the hashtag on the invite, I would put in on the program, have the dj announce periodically during the night and maybe have a frame with it posted on tables.

Depends on the type of wedding you're having. Is it formal or casual? We did a total non-formal invitation (a spinning wheel) but I'm not sure I would've put a hashtag on it. I did include the website which I would include the hashtag on there.

I'd do a separate insert, personally.

I would not put it on the actual invitation. Formal invitations are pretty standard when it comes to what information is supposed to be on there, so any deviation from that would be odd and definitely lead a guest to think you were having a very casual wedding. Plus, not everyone gets hashtags. I know my MOH spent the last year trying to "learn" them and in the process it was a great way to make fun of hashtags. It's a trend that not all generations have bought into. I guarantee not everyone on your guest list will "get it" if they see it in your wedding invitation.

I think it's definitely appropriate to put on your website, on a sign at your reception, or on your programs.

I was going to say that I thought maybe, just maybe, it would be okay to put it on an insert with your wedding invitations, but then I thought of something else. If you include a hashtag with any piece of your wedding invitations, you're inviting your guests to post about receiving your invitation on social media. That could open up a can of worms for you when anyone who isn't on your guest list who sees others receiving their invitations. I think it would be better if your hashtag was kept out of your invitation suite altogether. Website and displayed at the actual event will be more discrete, yet effective.

Guys I forgot to mention, it's a "celebration of our marriage". We married last year. Ugh it looks cute... I don't want it to look trashy though.

Yes all the guests know we're married. We're even writing on the invitation "invite you to celebrate their marriage". Sorry I don't like taking photos... I'm not in my best shape yet lol maybe some time soon I will Smiley smile
