Has anyone tried on the Wtoo Lapis?

I'd be apprehensive about buying it without even trying it on or knowing it fits you in some way.. is there a similar style to this dress that you could try on and get an idea?

I'm definitely apprehensive but I know I like this silhouette on me in general...this is a different dress but same silhouette

I tried on a watters that was super similar but i dont have pics anymore. I loved it but went with the sister dress.

I didn't try on that particular dress, but I just love wtoo and waters gowns! Obviously I'm sure you looked at the size guide. At the boutique where I got my watters gown they had a more detailed size chart than the one that the watters/wtoo website has. The size guide in the boutique included the length of the dress so that it included the "hem to hollow" measurement. That way you could tell if you should size up if you're really tall, etc, so it would be long enough. Do you know of any boutiques near that you that are carrying watters? It may be worth a short seeing if they have a similar size guide to the boutique that I went to, it was very helpful to see how long you can expect it to be. Good luck!

I have! I purchased it for my wedding in November. I had three other appointments before finally being able to try it on. I had to wait for a store in Atlanta to get the sample in and I'm glad I waited!

Also, I'm only 5'0" tall and I didn't feel like the torso was too long. It still looked nice to me.

Also following this thread! I haven't even been able to find a picture of an actual bride wearing it either. I cant find this dress anywhere in the Midwest to try on!! I'm dying to see it in person and also may just take the leap and order it!

So, I did take the leap and ordered it without ever trying it on. I'm so in love with it. It SHOULD be at a bridal store in Dublin, Ohio the first weekend in May. They told me they wouldn't know for sure until the week before. I feel good about this risk...that dress is dreamy!

Hi ladies! I also took the risk and ordered this dress in January for my July 4th wedding! The dress is in but i have to go into Manhattan to pick it up on May 26th! I CANNOT WAIT! i know it will be worth it. If anyone else has additional pictures, please share! the only picture i have is the model on the Watters site.

Hi all! I love the dress, I don't regret my purchase at all. It was pretty big on me so the day I picked it up i couldn't really get a good idea of how it will really look. However, I got fitted the following day to be altered and it felt a lot more real. In the picture I still have the excess material on the sides that the seamstress pinned, so it still looks slightly big. However, you get the idea! I'm due to go back on 6/16 and picking it up on 6/23. I'll share the final result

Also, my dress is all Ivory.

Hi Jana - I just ordered the same dress for my wedding! How did you like it on your big day? How did the champagne color photograph? I'm considering calling the shop and changing it to all ivory for the brightness in photos?
