Has anyone heard of a Beach Glass (Unity) Ceremony?

MelB, on June 2, 2015 at 6:58 PM Posted in Planning 0 8

I'm looking for ideas (other than sand and basic unity candle ceremonies) for my beach wedding in October. I've seen a few websites (of JPs and Officiants) mention a Beach Glass Ceremony - but I can't find any other information about it. What is it? What poem/reading/story is said? HELP!

I have not heard of it, but if you change your avatar photo to something other than the generic wedding wire logo you are more likely to get answers as people know you are not a spam account. Just a suggestion :-)

I see a lot of those suggestions about avatars, however, there are some people who would like privacy and have reasons for not posting personal pictures on public websites. I have a FH whose career is highly classified and we don't post pictures of us or our family out of necessity. Not everyone on Earth has Facebook, Instagram, or blogs about what they eat and how often they poop. Sorry for sounding snarky, I promise I don't mean to, but it's a way of life for some people to remain anonymous.

No one said you needed a pic of yourself, just something to distinguish you from spammers.

^ what she said. I'm a rabbit on a book. Not my rabbit. Not my book.

Your avatar doesn't need to be a picture of yourself. Many brides for privacy reasons or other reasons use a random picture. You can use a random picture from Google images. Or even the other options available from ww. Spammers never change their avatar, and many of the regulars won't open a post unless it is something other than the default. We are just trying to help you get more responses, no need for the negativity.

@MelB, the other users were just trying to be helpful. No need to be so snarky.

Just a suggestion. My fiancé was a Marine who deployed to several combat zones so I know all about OpSec. No need to make it something that identifies you. I don't use my real name anywhere on the Internet. Also no need to be rude.
