Has anyone changed their hairstyle after trials?

Andrea, on September 30, 2019 at 6:16 AM Posted in Hair and Makeup 0 9
So, I have had 2 hair trials with 2 different stylists. I had them both do the same hairstyle. I thought it was what I wanted and then I realized...I don’t like the way it looks on me. I am less than 3 weeks away and can’t have another trial, as I live 2 hours from my venue. Has anyone ever had their stylist do a completely new style on the day of the wedding?

I had a trial and didnt like it so did anitherbtrial with a different stylist and loved what she did so I booked her. However, I decided to do a half up hairstyle instead if updo but wont be doing another trial beforehand. I sent her pictures and she doesnt think it's too complicated and said she said we will work together the day of while shes doing it to make sure I love it every step of the way.

Are you going from an updo to a different updo? Did you talk to your stylist about changing without a trial?

At both trials, I had them do an updo. I do plan to go from updo to half up/half down. I probably should talk to her!

I had my trial and there was things I didn’t like but still love the hairstyle just wanted more my style. On the wedding day I made sure to remind them of the changes as it came out lovely. Now doing a complete different style... I don’t know. Is possible. What do you have in mind?

I haven't run into this since my trial isn't until January, but my friend got married in April & did this! She did one trial with her hair stylist & didn't like the way it looked so she changed the updo for the wedding without another trial. Her hair looked beautiful!!

I changed my makeup. The makeup artist wasn't available the day of my trial so my hairstylist did my makeup the day of my trial. She told me she very similar stlying to my makeup artist. After showing, my mom and grandmother photos from my trial they didn't like my makeup. My husband had also made a comment about not wanting me to wear too much makeup since I don't wear a lot normally so I changed what I wanted and sent ideas I liked to the makeup artist. I couldn't do another trial beforehand, but I ended up loving how it turned out.

I had my hair trial 3 months before my wedding and requested an updo. I didn't like the updo at all so I told the stylist I wanted my hair down on the wedding day. Then about a month before I got nervous and tried to schedule a second trial. I wasn't looking forward to the extra expense but I couldn't book an appointment anyway because my stylist was on vacation. So I went into the wedding day hoping for the best and happy ending - my stylist did a great job and my hair was beautiful!

I would definitely talk to her. She may not be comfortable skipping a second trial so it's important to ask her.

I had my trial (twisted ponytail), and then changed my mind the night before my wedding and had the hair stylist do something different (low curly bun)! It worked out well and I loved the style, but it was a classic bridal style so not too big of a jump I guess.
