Hard metal headband vs Ribbon headband

Dani, on June 3, 2017 at 9:38 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 4

Hi all! I am wanting to wear a headband for my day and am wondering if anyone has any opinions on a regular metal/plastic hard headband versus a headband with a ribbon that ties. Hope that makes sense.

I am planning to wear my hair up but low in the back. I am worried that a metal headband will start to hurt my head after several hours but I also worry about how well a ribbon one will stay in place (although I do trust my hair stylist to make it stay put)!

Just wondering if anyone has had experience with either and what they would suggest.

I can't wear a metal headband for more than an hour before it starts giving me a headache. If you are the same do the ribbon and have your stylist pin it in

I did a ribbon that ties and to keep it in place some bobby pins were used underneath the hair so they couldn't be seen and the headband wouldn't be moved

My hair stylist said to get as flexible headband as possible. This is a flexible wire, no hard metal band. I wore this for many hours and I never noticed it.
