I heard to start with a venue. Mine is at home, so I started looking into a photographer next because they book SO far out. Other than that, I have been thinking about themes, vibes, must-haves, and putting that into a vision board. Pinterest is the very best!!! Once you get an idea of what you want, then book all your vendors Smiley smile I hope this helps a little!

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! 😊 With three months to go, it’s totally understandable to feel overwhelmed, but you can still plan a beautiful day. Start with your budget, guest list, and top priorities. For under 100 guests, consider smaller venues, restaurants, or community spaces to help keep costs down. Take it one step at a time, you’ve got this! 💍

Sometimes you may look for a community center, park, veterans lodge, or church. If the ceremony and reception are possible in one location that can be helpful. Also, a simple option for the reception is to have snack foods, desserts, and non-alcoholic drinks so there is some ways to greet the guests as a newly married couple. The setting does not have to be more formal if the focus is lies with inclusion of the number of guests rather than a fantasy venue. These details are mainly where the budget is tight and the planning time is limited.

Congratulations! With three months to go and a smaller budget, I’d start by figuring out your must haves first: venue, food, and what matters most to you both. A smaller guest list can actually help a lot.

Look into community halls, parks, local restaurants, or smaller venues that offer packages. Don’t be afraid to ask friends and family if they have skills or resources they’d be willing to contribute. Keep it simple and focus on making the day meaningful rather than trying to match a traditional wedding.

We are also getting married in October. Start with the venue. See what help(if any) that can give you. Some have wedding planners to assist. If not and you wind up doing it all your self, I recommend the following order. Church/Temple, ect., reception venue, select wedding party, photographer, DJ,invitations, dresses/suits, cake, flowers, rehearsal, honeymoon, bridal shower. You can do this.
