Halloween ish ceremony

We’re having a casual backyard wedding the weekend before Halloween. We’re including some halloween inspired (spooky but pretty) decorations. Two of our favorite movies to watch together are Coraline and Nightmare Before Christmas. I want to ask a friend to read “Simply meant to be” as a poem in the ceremony. (Picture attached) and I’m tempted to ask our photographer to take a portrait of us in our wedding attire as Coraline and Wybie (we were them for Halloween last year.) I would be in my (short) wedding dress with blue wig and button eyes, he’d have the painted skull mask and skeleton gloves. Is that overboard?
