Hair trial without veil?

Rosalie, on August 22, 2013 at 11:13 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 6

I scheduled my bridal hair trial for the day of my friend's wedding that I am a bridesmaid in so that my hair will be done up for the wedding. But now the ship date for my dress is delayed and I am not picking out the veil until I go to try on the dress. Is it a bad idea to have my hair trial without the veil?

Not at all! I'm a hairdresser and it's really 50/50 if somebody brings in the veil for trial. You will be fine!

You'll be fine! I had a hair trial (half up half down) without a veil. The true test is if the hair still looks great after 8 hours or so.

I don't think you will need it. I had mine but it was on for like two seconds and I was more worried about getting makeup on it or something while at the hair dresser.

I did my without one too. I think you can give her an idea on what it looks like and how/where you would like it but I def think that you will be ok. You can always buy a cheaper one at michaels or something and return it. I just did that to get an idea of how a sash would look like on my dress.
