Hair trial, changing your mind AFTER the trial

Summerbridejen, on July 15, 2014 at 10:20 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 4

I went for a hair trial, I loved it although the back I would have liked a bit different so I sent a picture....now I saw another picture of exactly how I want it and want to go for another hair trial(I don't mind paying for another). I feel bad because I don't want her to think I don't like her work, I love it,I just want it to be perfect....she did it the first way because I showed her a picture...so it wasn't her fault which I told her, but I just don't want her to be insulted in any way. Would you go for another trial with the new picture?

Yes, most definitely. I would just tell her you want to go in a different direction. Your stylist wants you to be happy. Your happiness equals repeat business and referrals.

That's the point of trials, yes? You want to make sure you end up with the right look. I don't think she'd be insulted.

Yep. I think you're thinking into this one too much.

Oh, you're sweet to think about her feelings. Believe me, if you work with brides long enough, you realize that they all change their minds. It goes with the territory. She wants you to love the way you look on your wedding day, and she'd much rather you come back to her for another trial than spare her feelings by going to someone else. Don't give it another thought. Make your appointment for another trial.
