Hair pulls on beads on dress

My dress came in today and I absolutely love it! It only needs minimal alterations and is so perfect. The only issue is, it has a hand-beaded top. I really really want to wear my hair in a loose braid, but when I tried on the dress my hair was catching on the beads. Has anyone had a similar issue? Is there any solution or do I just need to move away from the braid hairstyle?

You can take for alterations and see if there is something they can do or maybe try a loose side braid. Have you asked our HMUA for suggestions because maybe they have experienced it. If you do not want to pay for alterations and are really dedicated to a loose braid then I would maybe do that for the ceremony and first pics and do a different hair style for the reception.

I agree with Kristen's suggestion to also ask your HMUA for suggestions! Maybe more hair product will keep individual hairs from catching less?
I also think a compromise of hairstyles could be a good bet as well! If you only have to be overly conscious of your braid for your photos & the ceremony - I think you can totally manage by being extra careful and having your bridesmaids help re-arrange and fix your hair. But I'd definitely put it up for the reception so you aren't worried about it all night!
