Hair prices

Hi all What are you paying for hair? What does it include? I know It will vary by location but I’m curious if what I am being offered is normal. 80$ for trial and 180 for hair on location. Included blowout iron work and the actual styling.

I think that price is fair for on location. I’m only paying $30 because it’s just my usual stylist curling my hair as she always does but my mom’s simple updo is going to be $75 at the salon so about the same as your hair trial.

I've been going to my hairdresser since I was little! She's giving me a free trial and only charging $50 for bridal hair. I personally think an $80 trial is too much, but $180 sounds reasonable for the hair

My trial is free but my hairdresser is a very good friend and she has been doing my hair forever. She is doing my hair and my 3 bridesmaids for 500. She has to travel but won't be charging a fee for that, she is also on my guest list.

My hair and makeup is 300 total. 100 for the trial. I'm also having her do my engagement photos hair and makeup which will cost 125. This was the mid-range pricing and she isn't forcing me to have a minimum for the day of so I actually save money.

I'm in southwest Ohio, and paid $50 for my hair w/no travel fee since it was under an hour away + $20 for my trial since I traveled to my stylist. I tried to tip 20% + on both occasions, since I felt it was a great deal!

However, I did a TON of comparison shopping to find her as many others required 5-6 person minimums at similar pricing.. she did a fantastic job and actually jumped in when the other hairstylist my bridesmaids planned to use was delayed / never showed up, and charged them each $50 as well I do believe.

Unfortunately my normal stylist is being super flaky and selling her business so at this point I would feel so much more comfortable with a contract.

Oh nice! She is making an exception for me because she normally has a three hair minimum for traveling

We married in an expensive area. My day-of hair (on location) was $225 and preview was $125 (at their salon). This doesn't include gratuity or travel fees.

Im paying 200 bc where i live the salon im going to has a bridal package for trial hair and makeup and day of hair and makeup it includes mani pedi to but i get my nails done acyrlic so no need for that so itll just be saving them little bit of money and time to not do that part ia all lol...but that price sounds reasonable if they were comming to me i know i would pay it vs going to a salon and chance ruining it on way back to get in my gown
