Hair or makeup first

I did makeup first so I could pull my hair back to do it. But some of the bridesmaids did it after, so it’s really just personal preference.

This is a question to ask your hair/makeup stylists. Everyone has their own preferences

I just faced the same question. I also couldn’t decided if it was better to put myself before or after my bridesmaids. First = fresh untired hands // last = tired hands but fresher make up… I decided it was best to do hair in the middle of the group and makeup towards the end but not last because then you’re rushing.

Typical hair goes first so the makeup can be coordinated with it. This also prevents the makeup getting affected by hot styling tools.
