Hair OR Makeup first

Get hair done first, if they have to spray anything on your hair or use heat it can ruin/melt your makeup

I've always been told to get makeup done first, and that's what my MUA has said when I've had to get hair/makeup done for something

I would definitely do hair first. Keep it out of the way and touch up makeup as you go.

I've heard makeup first so you look good in any getting ready/getting your hair done pictures.

Hair! Cuz you want your make up to be fresh for pics. Hair takes longer and usually is done earlier in day!

I think we set my hair. Then did my make up. Then did my actual hair. They rotates us through since the hair was a two step process. Honestly she shouldn't be asking you. They should already know what they are doing.

My hair stylist recommended setting my hair first, then doing the make up, then finishing my hair. No heat tools to finish my hair since it'll already be set and then my make up will look good in pics while they're finishing my hair. Then she can touch up the make up at the very end if needed.

I did hair first followed by make up. I agree with @OGMary and ask your pros which order they prefer.

Make-up first! I'm a hair stylist and I know from experience you are much better off getting your make- up done first. Plus hairspray works as a make-up setting spray so it won't hurt your make-up, if anything it will just help it even more! Good luck!!

I did my hair first because I was getting an up do so I knew it was going to last all day and I wanted my make up to be fresh for pictures. I also didn't take any getting ready pictures while actually getting ready, just staged ones putting on jewelry, touching up lipstick, etc.

I was a bridesmaid in my friends wedding they did my hair and then my makeup...

We are doing airbrush make-up; the artist suggest hair first, then makeup.
