Hair or makeup first?

I had my hair done first and then she gently pinned it back away from face while she did makeup. Then after made sure it looked perfect again

IMO your hair should go first, especially if you suffer from a very oily face. It guarantees your make-up to last longer plus hair is more likely to stay if it is sprayed enough and pinned enough. If you're really worried just ask your stylist to pin some pieces while getting make-up done then just to some small touch ups.

I have been in wedding recently and usually the hair person will set your curls and spray them really well and let you cool. While that goes on you get your makeup done except maybe your lips and then go back to get the rest of your hair completed. MUA does any touch up and lips and boom done.

Id rather my makeup done first in case she gets it in my hairline or something. I'm a "what if??" thinker though so maybe it's not necessary.

My stylist is leaving after she does my hair. Whatever is left after makeup I'll just have to leave it. That's why I'm worried. Makeup just assured me that she'll just pin a little back and it will be fine. That's kind of stressing me out. I really hope I don't have a clip mark in the front of my hair.

I actually had my hair and mu done at the same time. They were a team and actually did their thing. I was impressed.

I haven't had my trial yet it's this Saturday with both. My girls are twin sisters so not sure how they will work it.

My hair was done first at my trail and then makeup. I'm pretty sure that is how it will be for the wedding. My hair is thick and I had pieces curled to the front so she wanted to avoid spray hitting my makeup. She just touched up the hair after makeup if needed.

It was suggested to by my team that makeup go first then hair. MUA will still be around after my hair is done so she can do touch ups if needed!

My MUA says that the heating and hairspray can ruin the makeup which is why she wants hair done first. They do not work together or know each other so they really won't be working together. Maybe my hair stylus would be willing to stick around to touch up after. I'll ask her. Thanks ladies!

I've had my hair and makeup done for other things before and my makeup has never been run or been damaged by heat if my hair was done second. If they know what they're doing, these things shouldn't be an issue.

You can do it either way - nothing's going to be disastrous here
