I did my own but I wanted to do my trial on that day, it just didn't happen I did have my make up trial before a boudoir session and I was not very happy with my makeup. So I'm glad that I had not done it before the engagement session. I haven't seen my boudoir photos yet but I think they'll be ok. I guess it just depends on how casual you want to look for the engagement photos and how well you usually put your makeup on.

Yes. My makeup for my engagement pictures came out HORRENDOUS. My hair was also falling out an half hour later. Glad I did it because the person I ended up hiring for the wedding nailed the trial.

I did! It's in my profile picture. I'm really glad I did because I got to see how the photos our photographer takes turned out with the makeup I wanted, and she also did one thing that I really didn't like (and it still turned out ok!) which I will definitely make sure I don't have her do on the day. It put my mind at ease to see how the makeup held up over a few hours, too.
