Hair & Makeup Schedule

Rachel, on September 21, 2017 at 7:34 PM Posted in Planning 0 3

I was wondering if it matters in which order people get their hair and makeup done the day of? I'll go last. Smiley smile But for everyone else, do I factor in position within our wedding party, or how early a riser they are, or who is staying at the hotel we're getting ready at, or something else, or shall I just let my makeup/hair ladies put everyone in a random order and call it a day?

I'd leave it to the pros - they can best judge the timing of each person based on style, hair type, makeup application etc.

I made a FB group with all my bridesmaids, gave them some time options, and let them choose (early risers and people at the venue already took the earlier slots). I've talked to other people who had all their wedding party show up at the same time in the morning and figured it out as they went along. I don't think anyone's hairstyle or makeup took exceptionally longer (all different styles), so it should be fine. Good luck!

Like Michelle said, I asked the pro!! For example I wanted to know early on how long it would take my mua for each person to plan. She sent me a schedule that looked like...

Bride ( I wanted to go first to take the earliest, painfully early) haha

    Client 1 Time

    Client 2 Time

    Client 3 Time

    Client 4 Time

Based on the sample schedule, My MUA is spending 1 hour on me and 40 minutes on my bridesmaids (4 of them) and I will let my bridesmaids volunteer for the slots.

I am wondering about the hair too component. For example my MUA and Hair person do not know each other for one. Does your hair and MUA work together already regularly?
