Hair, makeup, and lunch??

When do I eat lunch?

I would eat while your mom is having her makeup done.

And WHAT do I eat for lunch?

Something filling, but not super carby so you don't get bloated. A wrap maybe?

Should we also provide lunch for our artist?

It would be nice, but also not a necessity. We had Chickfila for lunch and just ordered a little extra in case HMUA, photographers, or videographers wanted to eat.

what foods are safe to eat with makeup?

Literally anything. I mean I probably wouldn't eat soup, pasta, BBQ, or anything that you're likely to make a mess of.

I’ve seen brides eat BIG breakfasts beforehand and have light finger foods during the lunch so it doesn’t mess up their hair and makeup and helps tide them over until the reception dinner. Another option is have a quick snack during photos after the ceremony. Fiancé and I built in 15 minute alone time to our day where our coordinator is bringing us a snack and water before we join the reception.

For daughter's wedding we came home after hair and make-up to meet up with the BMs and the photographer around 11, and had to leave for the venue at 12:30. We had sliced meats -- turkey, beef, etc. -- fresh fruit, and rolls, for a light lunch heavy on the protein. Everyone ate, then did any needed quick touch-ups before getting dressed.

I ate all morning lol. Before my hair & make up, after my hair & make up. I just picked at the food. I was way too nervous/anxious/excited to sit down and eat an actual meal.
My mom provided a nice spread of food for us and my HMUA was welcomed to it.
