Hair length / extensions / clip in hair etc

Emily, on September 22, 2019 at 11:57 AM Posted in Hair and Makeup 0 4
Hello! I am worried my hair is not long enough for the style I want. (My hair goes past my shoulders and lays right above chest area). I’ve never had extensions put in but I have tried the clip in type pieces.
my hair people charge extra for adding “other hair” but I don’t know if I need it or not. I also don’t know where people are buying the hair pieces these days. Anyone have ideas? Thank you !

I have very similar length hair. I bought the extensions for a little length but mainly for volume. Looks SOOOOO much better. I bought 18 inch clip ins at a store in the bronx. They match it for you. You can also go to any Sally’s Beauty supply store and they can help match as well.

Hair extensions will be worth it on your wedding day! My hair stylist charged $45 extra to put clip in hair extensions and offered to sell me them for $200. But I just bought my own in Harlem for $70 and they looked great. The brand was Remy Fit-Clip.

I wanted length & thickness added for our wedding day. I bought Milk & Blush extensions for $260 and loved them, they were clip in.

My real hair was the same length as the 20-22" extensions so I returned them and bought the 24-26" extensions!Hair length / extensions / clip in hair etc 1

    Hey Emily!!

What hairstyle do you want to have for your hair? Do you have a photo of the look you want to achieve?

Would it be possible to organize a trial with your hairstylist without extensions so that you can see how it looks? You will then be able to make a decision about whether you like it the way it is, or if you feel like extra length will help get the look you want.

Discuss this with your stylist also. They will certainly have an opinion about what will and won’t work for your hair type.
